Menus

Menus are a great example of the Frazette Postulate. I would much perfer an open display of options; you could always toggle back to a limited subset.

Also I would like to see the last selected item emphasized and visible even in the "short form":

I have also inverted the axis; I think it is cleaner this way. Even though the paragraph listing "compresses" its options a lot, it is necessary given how many choices are available when a full listing is supplied. I'm sure that the Paragraph view will not be preferred once a user gains familiarity with the tree, but it is a very useful fallback when hunting for menu items.
